A. D. Hoyle & Co. was formed with the principal aim of supporting specialist contractors in the engineering and construction sectors, by providing commercial professional services to a high standard, whilst ensuring that we remain competitive and give value for money.
Andrew Hoyle

Andrew has worked in the construction industry since his teenage years; initially as a time-served Carpenter and, following a degree in commercial management and quantity surveying (Loughborough), became a Chartered Surveyor in 1999.
For the past twenty years Andrew's experience has been in the civil engineering, building, oil, gas and process, telecommunications and nuclear industries. He has worked mainly for large contracting organisations but has also worked directly for a major construction client and previously for another chartered quantity surveying practice.
Andrew has broad experience in quantity surveying and commercial management, claims and disputes including representing parties in adjudication.
A Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (FRICS) a Fellow of the Chartered Institution of Civil Engineering Surveyors (FCInstCES) and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (FCIArb). Andrew is also a Member of the Association of Cost Engineers (MACostE) and a Member of the Adjudication Society.
In 2020 Andrew started A. D. Hoyle & Co. as he saw that many quantity surveying practices appeared to focus on supporting either construction clients or main contractors but that there was often a shortage of high-quality commercial support available to specialist contractors.
Specialist contractors are always vital to project success and they are vital to the industry as a whole. Therefore, Andrew decided to use his knowledge and experience to help such companies succeed and to ensure that their projects are a commercial success.
